He schedules the work to be done in proper sequence and on a reasonable ti metable. He takes personal responsibility for any work he contracts out and he uses only reliable, experienced workmen. I always felt that Jim was on our side. He interceded on our behalf when dealing with contractors and insurance companies on true costs of repairs and replacement from damage claims. He helped us make remodeling decisions that were in our best interests. I specifically appreciate his suggestion to create a landing area at the bottom of the stairs and angle the doorways, the beautiful job he did matching the ceiling color in the living room to the fan, his suggestion to put in a tower in the basement bathroom, his very excellent advice to replace the kitchen counters and sink (I say a silent thank you every time I fix a meal), and his profoundly good advice on the best way to heat the basement. Major projects were completed on time and frequently ahead of schedule. What a thrill to return from our California trip to find all the carpet installed upstairs and down! Jim does great finished work. He helped make a nicely designed house into a sunny, restful, comfortable home. We've been in our home 4 months. I have yet to find one iota of unfinished or careless work. Thank you for hanging in with us after the April water damage and for looking out for our best interests through the reclamation process.
