Wandermere Basement
$45,000 - 55,000
Our customer had an unfinished basement that did not provide much utility beyond a cluttered storage area. The load bearing center wall dividing the room needed to be removed to fully open up the space. An engineered glulam was installed to carry the load from the house above and stained to match the rest of the woodwork. Functional storage was high on the list, so we added over 10 feet of French door closets and enclosed the mechanical room with two panel camber top beaded doors. Knotty Alder cabinets were chosen for the wine bar, topped with a slab of Sedna granite and a 3”x12” beige porcelain tile. Dimmable LED lights throughout the room allow for the perfect match to any mood. All of the woodwork was finished in knotty alder with a custom stain. New carpet was the final touch to transform this room from ‘might want to wear some shoes down there’ to ‘barefoot on the floor playing with the dog.’ And we think the dog approves!
